TransPort Carrier switching wizard consistently fails to run

Issue:  Selecting the Carrier switching wizard from the "Wizards" section in the TransPort web interface, then clicking the Next button fails to launch the Carrier switching wizard.  Depending on the web browser, you may see one of the following errors:

Chrome:

Firefox:

Internet Explorer:

Cause:  Digi has determined that Kaspersky anti-virus can cause this issue, and we suspect that other anti-virus software may also cause this issue.

Workaround:  Until a potential resolution is found (for example, certain settings to be adjusted within the anti-virus software, or a TransPort firmware update), we recommend using the "carrier" CLI command for TransPort models with the Sierra MC7354 cellular modem module (Digi part number "L5"), or the "qdl 0 fw" CLI command for TransPort models with the Huawei EM680 "GOBI 3000" module (Digi part number "U8").
