The AnywhereUSB Plus firmware - sometimes referred to as system firmware or DAL EOS firmware - may be updated via the device's webUI or Admin CLI, and by using a local file or OTA (over-the-air, using the firmware.devicecloud.com Digi firmware repository).
webUI / local file:
1. Download the latest AnywhereUSB Plus firmware via www.digi.com/support, noting that the files are model specific, e.g. 'AnywhereUSB 8 Plus' vs 'AnywhereUSB 8 Plus with Wi-Fi'.

AnywhereUSB 24 Plus with Wi-Fi DAL EOS
2. From the AnywhereUSB Plus webUI, navigate to System > Firmware Update.
3. Click the 'Choose File' button.
4. Browse to the appropriate file, it should have a .bin file extension.
The device should automatically reboot after the firmware update completes.
webUI / OTA:
If the AnywhereUSB has Internet access and a path to the Digi firmware repository, an OTA (over-the-air) update may alternatively be performed, by clicking 'Download from server' instead of 'Choose File', in the System > Firmware Update area.
Admin CLI / local file:
1. Download the latest AnywhereUSB Plus firmware via www.digi.com/support, noting that the files are model specific, e.g. 'AnywhereUSB 8 Plus' vs 'AnywhereUSB 8 Plus with Wi-Fi'.

2. Upload the firmware image onto the AnywhereUSB Plus device, e.g. to the /tmp directory via SFTP.
3. From the AnywhereUSB Plus Admin CLI, issue the following command:
> system firmware update file <file name including path>
Example:
> system firmware update file /tmp/AnywhereUSB2i-23.9.20.63.bin
Admin CLI / OTA:
If the AnywhereUSB has Internet access and a path to the Digi firmware repository, an OTA (over-the-air) update may alternatively be performed, by using the 'system firmware ota update' Admin CLI command.
1. From the AnywhereUSB Plus Admin CLI, determine if new firmware is available:
> system firmware ota check
2. Then list available firmware:
> system firmware ota list
3. To perform the OTA update to the latest version:
> system firmware ota update
Note: The version parameter may alternatively be used to specify the firmware version:
> system firmware ota update version 23.9.20.63
